About the Recipe
I enjoy all kinds of food but this is my favorite. It's always a treat when my mom makes this and has always been a crowd-pleaser. There are many ways to make mac & cheese but I think this method is perfecto!

Ingredients
16 ounces elbow macaroni
4 cups milk
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can cheese soup
1 block extra sharp cheese
8 ounces shredded sharp cheese, about 2 cups
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the Macaroni: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and pour macaroni into a 9x13 baking dish. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Make the Cheese Sauce:
In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Once melted, add the cheese soup, milk and eggs. Whisk mixture over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes to form a smooth sauce. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Combine: Add salt and pepper and grated cheese to the cooked macaroni and mix together. Pour part cheese sauce and top with more shredded cheese, continue stirring until evenly combined.
Step 4
Bake: Top with cheese and a sprinkle of paprika. Bake 30-45 minutes or until nicely browned on top.
Optional: Add a dash of olive oil to the water to prevent noodles from sticking together.
